2011 NBA Trade Deadline: Carmelo Anthony's Move Sends Ripples Through the League

Now that the dust is settling on the elongated Melo’-Drama, the blockbuster deal will possibly have an effect on a number of NBA teams, including the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings.

The three team deal that sent Camello Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, and Renaldo Balkman to the Knicks and Danio Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Tomofey Mozgov, and draft picks (two of which here originally acquired from the Warriors) to the Nuggets included a swap with the Minnesota Timberwovles with the Kincks receiving Corey Brewer for Eddy Curry’s expiring contract and cash, while the Nuggets would get Kosta Koufos and a future second round draft pick.

All of this movement leads to some possible repercussions in the Bay Area, with the Nuggets now in a position to possibly trade some of their newly added players, or even some of their longer tenured players such as Hilario Nene. With the trade deadline rapidly approaching, stay with SB Nation Bay Area for full trade coverage and updates realting to the Warriors and Kings.
