2011 NBA Free Agents: Kings Reportedly Offer Chuck Hayes Four-Year, $20 Million

As the Sacramento Kings look for some talent during this shortened offseason, free agent center Chuck Hayes has reportedly been offered a 4-year, $20 million deal from the Kings, according to ESPN's Marc Stein on Twitter.

Hayes, 28, is known as one of the better post defenders in the league dispute being one of the shortest at the center position (only 6'6") and could help out a lot around the rim. He's also a very team-oriented guy and could be a strong voice in the locker room full of youngsters. The Kings have only two players older than 25; Francisco Garcia (30) and John Salmons (31). 

Hayes averaged 7.0 points per game along with 8.1 rebounds and 0.7 Blocks, averaging 28.1 minutes per game as well.
