2011 NBA Free Agents: Kings Interested in Andrei Kirilenko?

According to the Sacramento Bee's Jason Jones, the Sacramento Kings could possibly be interested in signing free agent big man Andrei Kirilenko to add some more veteran depth to their roster.

Coach Paul Westphal said that the team may have 15 players already but that doesn't mean the front office isn't staying busy:

"I know that (basketball president) Geoff (Petrie) is going to be opportunistic, and we're always looking for chances to improve the team if it's there," Westphal said. "On the other hand, we don't have to do anything, either, and we're in good shape."

Kirilenko, 30, is a free agent currently playing in Russia. He spent the past 10 seasons with the Utah Jazz, making an All-Star team in 2004 and was well known for his versatility and defense. And with the Kings now without Samuel Dalembert, adding a big man would certainly some sense.
