The best teams are able to repeat their performances week in and week out. Oakland Raiders' head coach Dennis Allen is looking to see that out of his own team.
The Raiders dominated the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday with a 15-0 win using a dominant defensive performance and a productive running game to win the physical battle, wearing out the Chiefs.
Allen wants to see that same type of game from his team when they face the Carolina Panthers on the road on Sunday.
"It's just like I've been saying since Day 1 - we've got to be more consistent at it." Allen said Monday at his weekly news conference. "We've proven we can do it at times, but we've got to be more consistent at it. That will be our challenge moving forward."
The Raiders will be challenged in the final two weeks with Cam Newton and the Panthers before ending the season against the San Diego Chargers. If the Raiders can play like they did against the Chiefs against better - but not great - competition, it would bode well heading into next season and give them the opportunity to try to build off this late season momentum.
The Raiders are now 4-10.
