The Oakland Raiders have lost six straight games, but still opened as a favorite for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 3-10 Raiders opened as an 1-1/2-point favorite against the 2-11 Chiefs, according to Odds Shark. The Raiders have not fared well against the spread this season, going 3-10 including 0-5 in their last five games. On the other side, the Chiefs have gone 5-8 against the spread this season. While the Raiders have won four of the last five meetings against Kansas City, they are just 1-8 against the spread in the last nine home games against the Chiefs.

Sunday's game is the fifth time the Raiders opened as the favorite this season, but the first since their Week 9 game against Tampa Bay. The Chiefs have been the underdog in all but one game this season. Kansas City was a 1-point favorite the first time they faced the Raiders. Oakland won that game 26-16.

The total for Sunday's game opened at 42-1/2 points, a number which should go under if recent history holds true. The total has gone under seven times in the last nine games between the Raiders and Chiefs. While the Raiders are hosting the Chiefs, home hasn't been kind to Oakland recently. The Raiders have lost four straight home games and are just 2-5 at home this season.
