The Oakland Raiders' matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday will not be blacked out from local television. After receiving an extra 24 hours to meet the 85% minimum requirement to avoid the blackout, the Raiders were able to meet the deadline. The game will air at 1:05 p.m. PT on FOX.
The minimum requirement is that the team must sell 85% of its non-premium seats in order for the game to not be blacked out on local television. This marks the 12th straight game in which local Raiders fans have been able to enjoy its team's games being broadcast.
According to Paul Gutierrez of CSNBayArea.com, the Raiders have had 79 blackouts and 61 televised games since returning to Oakland from Los Angeles in 1995.
Both the Raiders and the Buccaneers are 3-4 on the season. Oakland has won its last two games, including Oct. 28's 26-16 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
