Carson Palmer wanted out of Cincinnati to be with a winning organization. His second season away from his old team, that hasn't exactly worked out for him.
Palmer and the Oakland Raiders travel to play the team he quarterbacked for seven seasons and his replacement, Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals. Cincy (5-5) has won two straight games to get back to .500 and keep their playoff hopes alive. It would be the second straight trip to the postseason for Dalton in his first two seasons. Palmer only led the Bengals to two playoff trips in his seven seasons there. The Bengals traded Palmer to the Raiders for multiple picks last season.
The Raiders (3-7) are looking likely to miss the postseason for the 10th straight season. Pretty much every game now is must-win for Oakland, which is looking to snap a 3-game losing streak.
The Oakland Raiders and Cincinnati Bengals kick off at 10 a.m. PT. The game will be televised by CBS.
