Raiders vs. Saints injury report: Taiwan Jones' ankle OK, Khalif Barnes returns

For the first time in a while, the Raiders look to have emerged from a game with no additional injuries to report.

Oakland Raiders running back Taiwan Jones left Sunday's game briefly in the first half with an ankle injur,y but is not expected to miss any time after returning to the field later in the contest.

Jones finished the game with three carries for 13 yards as the clear No. 2 option to converted fullback Marcel Reece.

Linebacker Philip Wheeler also missed a couple of snaps with a neck injury, but it doesn't look serious either as he was able to return to the game as well.

In other injury news, right tackle Khalif Barnes finally was able to overcome his groin injury and get back in the lineup for the first time since Week 2. Barnes said "there was a little rust," but he felt "pretty good physically" and did not suffer any setbacks. Barnes did not give up a single sack to the Saints and should continue to provide Carson Palmer with some improved protection as he continues to get back in the swing of things.
