NFL Power Rankings, Week 7: Raiders remain near bottom after loss to Falcons

The Raiders gave the undefeated Falcons all they could handle on Sunday, but remain among the league's worst all major power rankings.

The Oakland Raiders nearly pulled off a shocking upset on the road against Atlanta on Sunday, but they eventually fell on a late field goal and still find themselves near the bottom in every iteration of the NFL Power Rankings.

SB Nation's Joel Thorman has Oakland one spot above last in his NFL Power Rankings. Thorman wonders if there is any facet of the game in which the Raiders excel:

31. Oakland Raiders (LW: 30, 1-4): I still don't know what they're good at.

Thorman thinks the least of the Raiders, but Brian Billick of Fox Sports is not far behind. Billick has Oakland at No. 30, and notes that the team put up some pretty impressive numbers in what turned out to be a loss on Sunday:

The Raiders forced three interceptions, had 300+ passing yards and 100+ rushing yards…still lost.

ESPN and CBS agree that the Raiders are the 29th-best team in the NFL. Yahoo gave Oakland the most love, putting it at No. 28.

The Raiders will face one of their bottom-dwelling partners when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
