Fantasy football draft season is quickly approaching which means fantasy football player rankings are in high demand. SB Nation's go-to source for fantasy sports, Fake Teams, recently released their 2012 fantasy football position rankings and the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders were well represented in the wide receiver rankings.
Oakland's Denarius Moore is the highest rated wide receiver from either Bay Area team, checking it at No. 30 overall. Moore was not ranked in Fake Teams' 2011 top-40 wide receiver rankings. Moore wasn't the only Raider to make the list as Darrius Heyward-Bey checks in at No. 40. Fake Teams likes the way Heyward-Bey closed the 2011 season as he was the 15th ranked wide receiver over the last four games.
The 49ers have three wide receivers ranked in the top-75 led by Michael Crabtree at No. 39. The ranking is familiar territory for Crabtree as he was the No. 40 wide receiver in the 2011 rankings. After a year away from football, Randy Moss is back on the field and back in the rankings at No. 55. Finally, free agent signee Mario Manningham also cracked the list, coming in at No. 66.
