OT Khalif Barnes Re-Signed By Oakland Raiders, According to Report

According to Steve Corkran of the San Jose Mercury News, the Oakland Raiders have re-signed right offensive tackle Khalif Barnes, brining back the veteran for another season in the Silver and Black.

Barnes' return will ensure that the Raiders have already locked up four of their five starters on the offensive line from last year's squad, re-joining Stefen Wisniewski, Jared Veldheerand and Cooper Carlisle.

Barnes, 29, started all 16 games for the Raiders last season, all at right offensive tacke, and appreantly impressed enough to keep him around another year. Corkran beleives that Barnes has the 'inside track' to remain the starter at that position, though may look to go younger with either Bruce Campbell or Joseph Barksdale as well.

Barnes is a seven year veteran who's also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
