Campbell is a former first-round pick by the Redskins in 2005 out of Auburn and had played fairly well last year for the Raiders before going out with with an injury. In 2011, he passed for 1,170 yards, 6 touchdowns to 4 interceptions and led the Raiders to a 4-2 start, but after he was hurt, the Raiders traded for Carson Palmer. The rest is history.
It should be a good fit for him in Chicago, backing up the oft-injured Jay Cutler, and should the Bears require Campbell's services, he'll be throwing to newly acquired WR Brandon Marshall.
