Oakland Raiders Coaching Staff: Raiders Announce Seven Members of Dennis Allen's Coaching Staff

The Raiders, via a press release, announced the hiring of seven coaches to be on Dennis Allen's coaching staff next season. News of a few of these coaches had already hit the internet and were being confirmed by the Raiders, while a few more were new names that had not yet been mentioned.

The Raiders confirmed the hiring of new offensive coordinator Greg Knapp, offensive line coach Frank Pollack. It also confirmed the retention of running backs coach Kelly Skipper and assistant offensive line coach Steve Wisniewski. The confirmation of retaining these two should be big news for the Raiders as they were two of the stronger offensive coaches they had last season, and will represent continuity on an offensive unit that was top ten.

The Raiders also announced the hiring of strength and conditioning coach Al Miller and assistant strength and conditioning coach John Grieco.

Finally, and perhaps most interestingly, the Raiders announced the hiring of Justin Griffith as an offensive quality control coach. This is a name Raiders fans should remember as Griffith was a member of the Raiders as a fullback in 2007-2008 and started 14 games.

Allen's staff is starting to come together and is starting to look rather young. It will be interesting to see how the rest of this plays out,
