Oakland Raiders Interviewing Todd Bowles For Head Coach

The Oakland Raiders looked like they were locked in on making Winston Moss their next head coach, but perhaps initial opposition and lack of public sentiment supporting the move forced the team to think twice about making that type of move.

At the least, they'll first interview a candidate who has been a coach in the league. Only if it's been for three weeks.

Bowles was the coach of the Dolphins for about three weeks after the team canned Tony Sparano. Miami finished strong to the season, winning six of their final nine games. Bowles ended up winning two of three. He is probably most experienced with defensive backs, which has been a bit of a trouble spot lately now that Nnamdi Asomugha is a Philadelphia Eagle.

However, the Raiders do need someone who has comprehensive experience running a football team. It's hard to see if Bowles (who really has had little time to adapt to the position) has the requisite skills to be that kind of coach.
