Madden NFL 12 Roster Update: Oakland Raiders See Big Boosts

The fifth roster update for EA's Madden NFL 12 is right around the corner, set to go live on Friday, and we're going to take a look at the changes for the Oakland Raiders. Unlike the 49ers, who saw a mixed bag in regards to the update with six increases and four decreases, the Raiders have fourteen players getting ratings changes, and only one of those is getting a decrease.

The lone player getting a decrease in overall rating? Khalif Barnes, offensive tackle. He's dropping one overall point, while a slew of other players are getting increases, which they deserve. You can find the entire list of changes here, but for the ones pertaining to the Raiders, we'll get to those after the jump. In case you were wondering: yes, Denarius Moore gets an increase. Just saying.

Decreases

OT Khalif Barnes 74 to 73

Increases

WR Denarius Moore 73 to 76
HB Darren McFadden 90 to 92
QB Jason Campbell 82 to 84
OL Samson Satele 74 to 77
OL Stefan Wisniewski 75 to 78
OL Jared Veldheer 81 to 83
CB Joe Porter 54 to 59
CB Stanford Routt 85 to 87
DL Jarvis Moss 66 to 69
DL Tommy Kelly 85 to 87
K Sebastian Janikowski 90 to 91
TEAM Oakland Raiders 75 to 80

Other than that, they moved Moore to the top of the WR depth chart. McFadden gets a well-deserved increase, and if he keeps playing the way he is, he's going to get more. SeaBass is still rated too low, but it is what it is. As a direct contrast to the 49ers, Oakland has three offensive linemen get increases, and they're all deserved. Moore might get another big increase if he keeps it up, too.
