Raiders Injury Report: Darren McFadden (Groin), Michael Huff (Concussion), Chris Johnson (Hamstring)

The Oakland Raiders suffered a host of injuries on Sunday. Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times has more.

  • Darren McFadden did leave with an injury to the lower body. Coach Hue Jackson has confirmed it's a groin injury. This would be a huge blow to the Raiders if McFadden had to miss time; as solid as Michael Bush is as a backup runner, he's no gamechanger the way McFadden is for the Raiders. McFadden broke things open for the Oakland offense in Sunday's victory over the Jets.
  • Safety Michael Huff suffered a concussion on an unspecified play. Matt Giordano and Joe Porter are likely to take his snaps if Huff is unable to go next week.
  • Defensive end Matt Shaughnessy hurt his shoulder and corner back Chris Johnson suffered a hamstring injury. The Raiders can't afford too many defensive losses if they hope to prevail for the second straight week against the New England Patriots.
