After taking a substantial early lead it was looking like the Oakland Raiders may cruise to a victory over the Buffalo Bills to go quietly to 2-0 in their young season. But after a blazing second half comeback the Bills got right back into the thick of things, eventually negating a 50 yard Denarius Moore TD reception with three minutes left to put the nail in the coffin with a David Nelson 6 yard TD pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick, winning by the score of 38-35 at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Moore finished the day with 122 receiving yards on only four receptions, filling in more than admirably for the trio of Darrius Heyward-Bey, Louis Murphy and Kevin Boss out of the lineup due to injury. Darren McFadden had 7 receptions for 71 yards, including a 12 yard pass from Jason Campbell. Run DMC also had a rushing TD as well, finishing with 20 carries for 72 yards on the day.
Campbell showed poise and control throughout the game today, even when it seemed likes things were starting to go against him. Campbell went 22/30 for 299 yards today including two TD's and a rushing TD as well.
Ryan Fitzpatrick and Fred Jackson led the way for Buffalo this afternoon, with Fitzpatrick going 27/45 for 258 yards, along with three TD's and an interception, while Fred Jackson had 117 yards rushing on 15 carries with two rushing TD's of his own, including a 43 yard burst to begin the game.
