Oakland Raiders 2011 Preseason Schedule Begins August 11

The Oakland Raiders are set to report to training camp in Napa Wednesday morning, 16 days ahead of their first preseason game on August 11. The new CBA mandates teams not have required reporting until 16 days before the start of a team's first exhibition game. That includes 15 days of practice plus one day for physical examinations, which the Raiders will conduct on Wednesday.

In the meantime, the NFL re-released the 2011 preseason schedule, including nationally televised games. The Raiders will kick things off Thursday August 11 at home in the newly re-named O.Co Coliseum. They make one national television appearance this preseason as they will be on NBC's Sunday Night Football telecast when they head to Baltimore to face the Ravens. The Raiders three non-national games will be broadcast on local television on to be determined stations. They can be heard via radio on Live 105 (105.3 KITS-FM).

Thursday, August 11 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (7:00 p.m.)

Saturday, August 20 at Indianapolis Colts (5:00 p.m.)

Sunday, August 28 at Baltimore Ravens (5:00 p.m., NBC)

Friday, September 2 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7:30 p.m.)

The Raiders will open their regular season on Monday Night Football, September 12 against the Denver Broncos on ESPN.
