The NFL has released the 2011 preseason football schedule and the Oakland Raiders will get a chance to shine on national television in the third week of the preseason. NBC will feature the Raiders hosting the New Orleans Saints on August 28 at 5:00pm pacific. The Raiders preseason schedule includes the Saints, the Arizona Cardinals, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks. Specific times do not appear set yet, but nfl.com has slotted them in for August 13, 20, 28, and September 1.
The Raiders and Cardinals meet for the 12th time in the preseason, with the Oakland leading the series 7-4. The Raiders play the 49ers for the 11th straight season and 39th season overall, with the series tied at 19. Oakland hosts the Saints in the fifth matchup between the two teams. The series is tied at two. The Raiders wrap up the preseason traveling to face the Seahawks for the sixth straight preseason.
