Jacoby Ford, Denarius Moore Injury Update: Oakland Raiders Receivers Sit Out Wednesday Practice

The Oakland Raiders will be short-handed once again in Week 14 when the travel to Green Bay to face the undefeated Packers. Darren McFadden is not expected to suit up, but now there are question marks surrounding wide receivers Jacoby Ford and Denarius Moore. Both receivers were hoping to return to practice this week, but neither practiced on Wednesday.

The Raiders will face a high-flying Packers offense and it is going to be tough to hang with shorthanded. They are tough to hang with even if 100%, but removing guys like Moore and Ford makes the task doubly difficult. Chaz Schilens and Darrius Heyward-Bey can haul in passes, but the Raiders need that ability to stretch the field, and Ford and Moore are the guys that can do that most effectively.

This is a situation worth monitoring over the next two days. If either receiver practices on Thursday it would be a big step forward. Friday is often more of a walkthrough practice, so Thursday is really the big practice to get some work in.
