The Oakland Raiders have gotten off to a slow start out at Sun Life Stadium in South Beach and the Miami Dolphins have opened up an early --- lead heading into the second quarter.
The 'Phins got on the board on their opening drive with a 48 yard field goal from Dan Carpenter, then tightened the screws on the Silver and Black as Miami's defense held the Raiders to two straight punts on their first two drives. The Dolphins would then put another good looking drive together, leading to another 33 yarder from Carpenter.
Reggie Bush leads the way for Miami thus far, rushing for 53 yards on five carries already, while Matt Moore is 5/11 for 39 yards.
As for the Raiders, Carson Palmer finished the quarter 5/8 for 39 yards, while Darrius Heyward-Bey has two catches for 20 yards.
