Darren McFadden Injury Update: No Verdict On Oakland Raiders RB Until Wednesday

The Darren McFadden odyssey goes on for one more (one last?) week for the Oakland Raiders.

With the Raiders in need of one more win to clinch the final playoff start, McFadden could get back in the mix for Oakland. He could also be the guy the team needs to get them over the top and help leap them into the AFC playoffs. At this point, nothing is certain.

Coach Jackson says he won't pass judgment on RB Darren McFadden's status for Sunday's game until he sees if he's able to practice Wednesday.

WR Jacoby Ford says he and RB Darren McFadden will test out sore feet later today. Not sure if he will be able to play Sunday.

Just remember that McFadden has been out the past month and a half because of this foot injury, and it's highly unlikely that he'll be ready for action now. The Raiders could use McFadden back, but they've become so accustomed to winning without him that they don't need him this week to assure themselves victory. Still, getting McFadden back could be exactly what this team needs to boost them for a potential playoff run.
