As the Oakland Raiders get set to take on the undefeated Green Bay Packers at the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field fantasy football owners around the world are trying to figure out if quarterback Carson Palmer is worth a start this Sunday. There are arguments for both as our friends over at Numberfire.com have some projections for you.
Palmer is currently projected to earn 15.14 points this week on around 21/39 passing for around 243 yards, 1.64 touchdowns and 1.04 interceptions. These numbers aren't terrible, but they certainly aren't spectacular either, giving you, the owner, the final decision as to start him or sit him.
Some food for thought: the Radiers are coming off an embarrassment of a game against the Dolphins last week, and the Packers are deadly at Lambeau. Conversely, the Pack give up almost 300 yards passing a game, ranked 31st in the league, and the Raiders will hopefully have some sort of chip on their shoulder after getting shutout in Miami. It's a toss up start to me, so go with your gut decision.
