Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, Week 10: Carson Palmer Is Just A Little Bit Tempting

The Oakland Raiders have to deal with a short week as they travel south to face the San Diego Chargers in a Thursday Night Football matchup on NFL Network. The Raiders were stunned by the Denver Broncos and now find themselves in the thick of a four team race in the AFC West.

Week ten of the NFL season features no bye teams, which gets most of your starters back into the lineup. If you are dealing with injuries however, you might find yourself perusing the waiver wire for any possible help. The Oakland Raiders offense has been wildly up and down as they try and figure out where they are going with Carson Palmer at quarterback. WR Jacoby Ford blew up in week nine to the tune of 105 receiving yards and a touchdown. The question is whether there will be any sort of consistency moving forward.

The big question is whether Carson Palmer can become a stable force at QB. He threw another three interceptions on Sunday, but he also put up 332 yards and three touchdowns. It was not a pretty performance, but for fantasy purposes it wasn't too bad. Palmer gets what could be a solid matchup against a Chargers secondary coming off a horrid performance against the Oakland Raiders. Palmer could have some decent upside on Thursday.

Jacoby Ford is likely already on somebody's bench in your league, but if not he remains a worthwhile grab. Denarius Moore is also an intriguing option, although I would recommend adding him only if you have a bench-warmer you no longer need for bye weeks. Moore has upside but might require stashing for a couple weeks.
