Raiders Vs. Broncos Score: Denver Up 7-3 Thanks To Big Tim Tebow Plays

The Denver Broncos are early in action against the Oakland Raiders, and they suffered a big injury when Rahim Moore went down early to a scary concussion.

Moore is probably out of this game and was replaced by Quinton Carter, a fourth round pick out of Oklahoma.

Oakland quickly struck with Carson Palmer, going to Jacoby Ford for 34 yards on Palmer's only completion of the game. Michael Bush has also rushed for 22 yards on three carries in place of Darren McFadden.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh didn't catch a pass in his debut appearance in the Bay Area, but he did break up an errant pass from Palmer that landed right in the hands of Broncos defender D.J. Williams, saving what would have been a score-killing interception. The hobbled Sebastian Janikowski booted in a 48 yard field goal that just scooted past the uprights to give Oakland an early 3-0 lead.

Oakland's defense had held the Broncos to three-and-outs up to this point, but Tim Tebow made two big plays. He took a zone-read outside to the left when the outside defender crashed, letting the quarterback scamper for 32 yards. Tebow then found Eric Decker down the middle on 3rd and 10 to put the Broncos up for the first time near the end of the first quarter.
