Darren McFadden Injury Update: DMC Misses Practice Again Friday

With only two days left before the Oakland Raiders take on the Denver Broncos at the Oakland Coliseum, running back Darren McFadden sat out of practice once again, and now more than ever is looking like a no go this Sunday.

McFadden has been wearing a protective boot all week, nursing an ankle injury he suffered early in the game two weeks ago against the Kansas City Chiefs. Even a whole week of R&R during the bye didn't do him much good as he is still unable to take part in any activities at practice, making him all but ineligible to suit up this Sunday. In his absence Michael Bush will be the starting back, with rookie Taiwan Jones playing the role of backup/change of pace guy.

Run DMC did just that to start out the season, leading the league in rush yards through the first four weeks. He trailed off a bit before the injury two weeks ago, and has 113 attempts for 614 yards and four TD's this season for the Silver and Black.
