As the Oakland Raiders get set to host the Chicago Bears at the O.Co, fantasy owners across the nation are looking at whom they should start at the quarterback position. A decent pick this week could be the Raiders Carson Palmer, who has been getting stronger week-by-week and getting more comfortable with his receivers, though he's up against the stingy Bears defense.
Numberfire.com has Palmer projected to earn 14.05 points this week, including 1.10 TD's and 1.00 interceptions; not exactly a shining vote of confidence. Numberfire also projects him to complete 20.86/33.59 of his passes for 235.10 yds, not too shabby but not exactly Aaron Rogers either.
If you happen to have Rogers, or another top shelf QB, than Palmer is most definitely a sit this week. But if your QB is injured (Michael Vick, Kevin Kolb etc.) that Palmer can be a nice fill-in this week.
