Raiders Vs. Bears Odds: Jay Cutler Injury Jumps Oakland From Slight Underdog To Decent Favorite

The Oakland Raiders are looking like they're in pretty good shape this week when they face off with the Chicago Bears. The Chicago offense looked in good shape the past few weeks, but Jay Cutler has been ruled out for this week and potentially much longer. The Raiders defense should be chomping at the bit to take advantage of the offense.

It was reflected in the line movement of the Raiders-Bears game, which originally had Chicago as slight 1.5 point favorites, but now has shifted totally in favor of Oakland, who are 4.5 point favorites. Oakland is generally one of the toughest places in the league to play football, and it appears like the absence of Cutler will greatly impact the team.  Caleb Hanie seems like a capable enough backup, but no one knows what to expect from him when he takes the field on Sunday.

Still, don't sleep on the Chicago defense, who would love to force Carson Palmer and the Raiders into making critical mistakes on offense.
