The Minnesota Vikings entered the second quarter with a 7-3 lead on the Oakland Raiders, but they find themselves in a bit of trouble as they have lost running back Adrian Peterson due to a lower leg injury. Peterson put together a solid run on the play but had a defender roll up on his left leg. After the injury trainers were seen working on his lower left leg. He was then taken to the locker room on a cart.
There is no word on the specifics of the injury, but Peterson is reportedly questionable to return. You can view video below of the play in question. Peterson hopped through the hole and a defender had his right leg, pulling off his show. That slowed down Peterson enough for a second defender to grab hold of him for the tackle. As Peterson was tackled you can see him roll over on his left leg. We will have more updates as info comes along.
