2012 NFL Pro Bowl Results: Oakland Raiders Have Sebastian Janikowski And Shane Lechler Leading

Shane Lechler and Sebastian Janikowski look like they'll be returning to the Pro Bowl as top special teams performers in the AFC.

The Oakland Raiders are leading in the AFC West, and outside of Darren McFadden, they're doing it with no great performers. Currently McFadden is probably the only Raider on either side of the football who can likely earn a Pro Bowl bid, but he's probably trading Fred Jackson (current leader) and Arian Foster in the AFC Pro bowl voting.

So we have to turn to the usual suspects for who's currently leading the Raiders vote. Namely, the outstanding special teams performers. Sebastian Janikowski leads all kickers with 89,925 votes, and Shane Lechler leads all punters with 87,554 votes.

Janikowski has converted an incredible 93 percent of field goals (14 of 15), including tying an NFL record with a 63 yard field goal. He's also averaging 63.5 yards per kickoffs. Lechler is booting at an incredible 51.7 yards per punt with a net average of 39.8 yards and 14 punts going inside the 20. Both are clearly the class of their positions, and seem ready for a Pro Bowl berths.
