Madden NFL 12 Roster Update, Week 10: Raiders See Three Up, Two Down In Ratings

The Week 10 Madden NFL 12 roster update is set to go live on Friday for Xbox 360 and PS3 users. The Oakland Raiders are coming off a bad loss to the Denver Broncos, but are looking ahead to the game on Thursday against the San Diego Chargers. In the meantime, the latest roster update does make some changes, including two decreases and, despite the loss, three increases in player ratings.

None of the ratings are incredibly significant, though. Richard Seymour does see a decrease from 96 to 95, and whenever somebody in the nineties moves in any direction, it's considered more significant than other one- or two-point movement. Marcell Reese gets an increase after his big touchdown reception from Carson Palmer. Make the jump for the full list of ratings, and you can also go here to see a full list of changes for every NFL team.

Increases

QB Carson Palmer 82 to 83
FB Marcell Reese 83 to 85
WR Jacoby Ford 74 to 75

Decreases

LB Aaron Curry 77 to 76
DL Richard Seymour 96 to 95

Changes

HB Darren McFadden lowered on depth chart (injury)
HB Michael Bush moved to HB #1 on depth chart
HB Taiwan Jones moved to HB #2 on depth chart
WR Derek Hagan released

It's somewhat comical to see the depth chart changes when a player is injured on a day-to-day, game-to-game basis. What makes it even more comical is that EA generally makes these changes just in time for the next week of play to be inconvenienced while the player returns from an injury. I'd also be shocked if Ford didn't get his bump via the "spectacular catch" rating.
