Kyle Boller Named Starting QB Over Carson Palmer For Raiders Vs. Chiefs

The Oakland Raiders have decided to go with Kyle Boller over Carson Palmer as their starter on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Apparently Boller's familiarity with the offense was the difference over Palmer's general experience, and that's who the Raiders will roll with on Sunday.

Raiders head coach Hue Jackson kept the dance going all the way to the opening kickoff. At first it looked like it was Boller when he took most of the opening first-team snaps on the field in Oakland, but then Palmer split the rest of the snaps with Boller in the first half. It wasn't really known who would get the start until kickoff, when Boller walked onto the field with his helmet on and Palmer came out with the ball cap on. Expect Palmer to be the favorite to start after the bye week though.
