Madden NFL 12 Roster Update #8: Key Raiders Go Up

The Oakland Raiders are going to have a ton of changes in the latest roster update for Madden NFL 12. The update is set to come out on PS3 and Xbox 360 on Friday, and the list of changes came out on Thursday. When it just comes to ratings, the Raiders had four players go up in rating and one player go down, dropping just a single point.

Tyvon Branch was the player to go down, and it's the second week in a row he's dropped, which is odd considering he hasn't been that bad. On the plus side, Darrius Heyward-Bey continues to get a little bit of respect, and even Kyle Boller made a slight jump for some reason. The update will send both Aaron Curry and Carson Palmer to the team's roster, so they'll be immediately available for use online. Make the jump for the list of Raiders changes.

Increases

DL LaMarr Houston 82 to 83
QB Kyle Boller 66 to 67
WR Darrius Heyward-Bey 76 to 78
OL Jared Veldheer 83 to 86

Decreases

S Tyvon Branch 86 to 85

Changes

LB Aaron Curry added
QB Carson Palmer added
S Chinedum Ndukwe added
LB Bruce Davis released
CB Joe Porter released
S Jerome Boyd released

The increases are all mostly deserved. Veldheer has been good, but I'm not sure if it warrants a three-point increase. The one-point increase for Boller is a throw-away move made for no real reason. Other changes were made to the depth chart at linebacker and quarterback, plus a position change for Daryl Blackstock and a number change for Aaron Curry.
