Raiders vs. Patriots, Injury Report: Albert Haynesworth, Aaron Hernandez Out For New England

Both the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots will be without a number of key players this Sunday at the sold out Oakland Coliseum, setting up a matchup of the ‘new’ Raiders behind Hue Jackson and a Patriots team still searching for some identity.

Oakland has a veritable laundry list of injuries as safety Michael Huff, cornerback Chris Johnson, fullback Marcel Reece, defensive end Matt Shaughnessy, wide receiver Louis Murphy, linebacker Ricky Brown, and offensive tackle Stephon Heyer will all be sidelined with injures this afternoon for the Black and Silver.

New England will be without a number of crucial players, having to go without backup QB Ryan Mallett, cornerbacks Leigh Bodden and Ras-I Dowling, defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, tight end Aaron Hernandez, offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer and defensive lineman Mike Wright will all be out this Sunday. Hernandez and Haynesworth had been making serious strides with the team and will be tough to replace for Bil Belichick and his New England squad.
