Terrelle Pryor's Suspension Ends

With the first five games now over and done with, Terrelle Pryor can now join the 53-man roster of the Oakland Raiders. According to ESPN’s Bill Williamson, Pryor should be activated this week.

Though Pryor will now be available, do not expect him to be on the field anytime soon. The Raiders are off to a 3-2 start after defeating the Houston Texans on Sunday, the first game following the death of longtime owner Al Davis. With a strong start to the season, changes don’t seem to be necessary and Pryor is a project to begin with.

Selected in the 3rd round of the NFL’s Supplemental Draft, Pryor did not participate in the preseason and was not allowed to play or practice during his suspension. Now, with veterans Jason Campbell and Kyle Boller in front of him, he has time and opportunity to learn the system while the Raiders continue their strong run of late.
