In Week 10, Ford totaled 306 yards (158 kick return yards, 148 receiving yards), including a 94-yard kickoff return-touchdown in the Raiders' 23-20 overtime win against Kansas City.  Ford joined former Steelers wide receiver Gary Ballman (161 receiving yards, 159 kick return yards at Washington on 11/17/63) as the only players in NFL history to have at least 140 receiving yards and 150 kick return yards in a game.

In Week 12 against Miami, Ford had a 101-yard KR-TD and became the first Raider to return the game-opening kickoff for a score.  Ford also totaled 108 receiving yards on four catches, including a 44-yard touchdown reception.

In his rookie season from Clemson, this is Ford's first career Player of the Month Award.  He joins Justin Miller (December of 2008) as only the second Raider return specialist to win Special Teams Player of the Month.   Ford is the first Raiders rookie ever to win a Player of the Month Award.
