Oakland Raiders rookie wide receiver Jacoby Ford continued what has been a breakout second half of the 2010 NFL season with a 71 yard end around resulting in a Raiders touchdown and 7-0 lead over the Denver Broncos. Ford was relatively untouched en route to his fifth touchdown of the season. He now has one rushing, two receiving and two return touchdowns.
Today’s game also marks the starting debut for Broncos QB Tim Tebow. Kyle Orton was too hurt to play this week so Tebow got the nod. The Raiders are expected to stack eight men in the box to stop Knowshon Moreno and dare Tebow to beat them through the air.
The Raiders are in must-win territory with the Chargers and Chiefs both getting victories this week. The Raiders sit two games back of the Chiefs and face KC on the road to close out the season in two weeks. They need help from both the Chiefs and Chargers, but the AFC West is still a possibility for Oakland.
