The Raiders are going to be close to full strength on Sunday. Rolando McClain was the only Raiders to not practice on Friday. We’ll have more on him later. Every player on the Raiders injury report is listed as questionable or probable.
Nnamdi Asomugha continued to practice on a limited basis. He continues to fight a sore ankle, but there are no indications that it will keep him out of Sunday’s game. Joining him in limited participation and questionable status are S Hiram Eugene, WR Johnnie Lee Higgins and WR Nick Miller. The injuries to Higgins and Miller are notable in that they are the primary punt returners. At this point, it sounds like the more healthy of the two at game time will play and the other will be inactive.
Richard Seymour has a sore knee. He was held out of Wednesday’s practice, but was a full-go on Friday. He is listed as probable for Sunday. Those who joined Seymour in the probable category are TE Zach Miller (foot), DB Chris Johnson (groin), QB Kyle Boller (quad), S Tyvon Branch (shoulder), T Khalif Barnes (back) and LB Travis Goethel (knee).
The Broncos have already ruled out three players for Sunday’s contest. They are WR Demaryius Thomas, K Matt Prater and S Brian Dawkins. Dawkins is on one of three Broncos Safeties on the injured list. Listed as questionable are Safeties Darcel McBath and David Burton.
Joining McBath and Burton in the questionable category is QB Kyle Orton. As we discussed earlier, Orton did not throw all week in practice, making it likely that Tim Tebow will get the start.
WRs Eric Decker and Brandon Lloyd are both listed as probable. As are RB Spencer Lawson, LB Kevin Alexander and DE Marcus Thomas.
