NFL Scores Week 12: The Raiders' Chances At The AFC West Crown Take A Hit

While the Oakland Raiders were busy getting pushed all over the field in a 33-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins, the Kansas City Chiefs were busy widening the gap between the two teams. The Chiefs beat the Seahawks in Seattle 42-24. They are now 7-4 and two games ahead of the 5-6 Raiders.

The Raiders now find themselves in third place in the AFC West as they now sit behind the 6-5 San Diego Chargers. The Chargers were showcased on NBC’s Sunday Night Football in a game against the Indianapolis Colts in Indianapolis. The Chargers appeared to have stopped beating themselves and they easily beat the Colts 36-14. The Chargers managed to harass Peyton Manning into four interceptions en route to the lopsided victory. The Chargers will host the Raiders next week.

Meanwhile, the Broncos saw their fourth quarter comeback against the St. Louis Rams fall short and they walked off of their home field as 36-33 losers. At 3-8, the Broncos are now all but mathematically eliminated from the division race. The game caps off a stormy week for the Broncos and Head Coach Josh McDaniels. Earlier in the week McDaniels was fined for the Broncos illegal videotaping of the 49ers’ practice.
