Nnamdi Asomugha is rightly feared and respected by almost all wide receivers around the NFL. He could very well be the best defensive player in football, but unfortunately his contributions are generally overlooked by many fans because he plays for Oakland.
Which is why seeing Asomugha hobble off the field has to be a concerning sight for Raiders fans
Oakland Raiders Pro Bowl cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha sprained his ankle in Sunday's 33-3 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Asomugha is expected to undergo an MRI on the ankle Monday, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Asomugha went down defending a deep pass to Seahawks wideout Golden Tate in the fourth quarter Sunday.
Asomugha was in noticeable pain was unable to walk off under his own power. He went immediately to the locker room.
His replacement Michael Huff didn't fare as well in defending the pass, so safe to say that Raiders fans will want Asomugha back very very soon.
