According to Pro Football Talk, WR Louis Murphy bruised his lung when he collided with FB Marcel Reece near the sideline in Sunday’s blowout against the Broncos.
The team has not yet confirmed or denied the report. If it is true, this leaves the Raiders inexperienced WR corp even more inexperienced. Tom Cable had said Jacoby Ford will have an increased role if Murphy misses any time.
