Roger Goodell Drops By The Bay To See A Raiders Win

The NFL Commish had a busy weekend, and he capped it off with a visit to the Coliseum to watch Sunday's action.

The Commissioner was then off to Oakland, where he watched the early Sunday games with Hall of Famer John Madden from the coach’s multi-screen viewing room.

The trip continued with a short ride on the Madden Cruiser to Oakland Coliseum for the Chargers-Raiders game, where Commissioner Goodell toured the field, met some Raiders fans in the U.S. Army ... spoke with the media ... and watched the game with Raiders fans from three different locations in the stands, including the famed "Black Hole."

Tweeted the Commissioner from the stands, "Very loud down here w/ Raiders faithful. Fans making me feel at home. Hearing a lot of ‘Welcome to our house. Have a good time today.’"

Said one Raiders fan, "He’s a fan first! Good to see that!"

Based on the feisty efforts Oakland's put up over the past few weeks, you might be seeing Goodell show up at a few more Raiders games this year. At this point, it's way likelier than seeing him show up to a Niners game.
