The Oakland Athletics got the job done, taking a four-game series against the Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim over the past few days. Now they will return home to the O.co Coliseum to host another key three-game set against the Baltimore Orioles, who are currently battling for control of both the second Wild Card spot and the pole position in the American League East.
The Orioles are 7-3 over their last 10 games and are coming off a sweep of the Tampa Bay Rays. These two teams will be playing for key wins which could have deep postseason implications both ways. Plenty of people will be watching this series intently.

Tom Milone was the only Oakland starter who didn't pitch in Los Angeles and he'll be trying for his 13th victory to get the team back in the win column. He'll face left-hander Joe Saunders, who is 2-1 with a 4.24 ERA since being traded to the O's from the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Jarrod Parker was terrific in his last outing against the Angels and will try to pick up his 11th win. The Orioles starter for the game is yet to be determined.
