Athletics Vs. Angels: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Oakland Athletics will rely on the arm of rookie Dan Straily in the second game of a pivotal AL West series against the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night at Angel Stadium.

Straily, regarded by many as the top starter in the Triple-A Pacific Coast League this season, has appeared in three games for the A's this season, posting a 1-0 record and a 3.18 ERA in 17 innings of work. His last start against the Angels was a rough one however, as he gave up five runs on eight hits in 4.2 innings.

The Angels will send right-hander Jerome Williams (6-7, 4.59 ERA) to the mound. Williams, whose most recent role for the Angels has been as a long reliever, will step in as a spot starter for the first time since July 19.

The A's took the first game of the four-game series last night with a 3-1 victory behind a stellar outing by starter Jarrod Parker, who threw seven innings of three-hit ball.

The first pitch in Anaheim is slated for 7:05 p.m. PT, and the game will be televised on CSNCA.
