Athletics Vs. Blue Jays Final Score: Oakland Loses Finale, 6-5

The Oakland Athletics started their four-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays in confident fashion, but eventually had to settle for a series split. On Sunday, the Blue Jays pulled off a 6-5 win as starter Tom Milone had his roughest start of the season.

The Blue Jays opened the scoring in the top of the first inning with a sacrifice bunt for a quick 1-0 lead. Derek Norris hit a two-out RBI double in the second to tie things up for Oakland.

In the bottom of the third, the A's took a 4-1 lead as Josh Reddick belted his 24th home run of the season. Toronto answered right back in the top of the fourth, however, as Edwin Encarnacion hit his 29th homer to cut the Oakland lead to 4-3.

In the top of the fifth, the Blue Jays hit a pair of two-out RBI singles -- from Yunel Escobar and Kelly Johnson -- to take a 6-4 lead. The A's got one run closer in the bottom of the seventh thanks to an RBI double from Coco Crisp, but couldn't get any more runners home.

Milone gave up all six runs on nine hits and a walk in six innings of work. He also struck out four batters.
