Athletics Vs. Red Sox Final Score: Oakland Sweeps Boston With 3-2 Win

The Oakland Athletics were hoping to regain some momentum by returning home to O.co Coliseum and they have done a wonderful job so far. On Wednesday, the A's managed to sweep the Boston Red Sox right out of town with a 3-2 win.

Brandon Moss led off the second inning by belting his 10th home run of the year to get Oakland on the board. To return the favor, David Ortiz led off the top of the fourth with his 22nd homer of the season to tie things up.

Adrian Gonzalez hit an RBI single in the top of the sixth to give Boston a brief 2-1 lead, but Brandon Inge hit an RBI double in the bottom of the frame to tie things up once again.

The deciding run came in the bottom of the seventh, as Coco Crisp tripled to lead off the inning and Jemile Weeks brought him home with an RBI single. The Oakland bullpen held things steady the rest of the way to secure the sweep and the Athletics' fourth straight win.
