The Oakland Athletics were on a roll, but their most recent road trip was not kind to them. The A's managed to avoid a four-game sweep at the hands of the first-place Texas Rangers, but have gone 4-6 over their last 10 games.
The A's return to the O.co Coliseum on Monday to kick of a new homestand. Their first opponents will be the Boston Red Sox, who just split a four-game set with old foes the Seattle Mariners. Oakland will try to make some more good things happen before the All-Star Break next week.

Griffin will get his third career start. He holds a 1.50 ERA thus far, but has yet to record either a win or a loss. He'll go up against Franklin Morales, who is 1-1 with a 2.59 ERA.
