The wounded Oakland Athletics will be getting one of their key pieces back on Monday as the team has activated outfielder Coco Crisp from the DL, and is back in the lineup against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
The return of Crisp is a sight for sore eyes in Oakland after Brandon McCarthy was the latest Athletic to hit the DL last week with a shoulder strain. Still, slugger Yoenis Cespedes and veterans Brandon Inge and Manny Ramirez are expected back with the club at the end of the month, so they aren't far away from having some serious firepower back in the lineup.
Coco returns as the A's No. 2 hitter in the lineup, getting the start in center field, while red-hot Josh Reddick right behind him. Kila Ka'aihue will be the DH this evening, while Josh Donaldson gets the nod at third, batting sixth.
