A's vs. Mariners, Japan Season Opener: Start Time, TV Schedule, Online Stream & More

The Oakland Athletics and Seattle Mariners will officially kick off the 2012 MLB regular season on Wednesday morning as the two clubs face off in Japan. Brandon McCarthy will make the start for the A's, while Cy Young contender Felix Hernandez will be on the mound for the M's.

First pitch is set for 6 a.m. ET, which is 3 a.m. in the Bay Area. No, we are not joking. So put on a pot of coffee (or grab a bag of peanuts and an alcoholic beverage of your choosing) and get ready for some real baseball after a long offseason.

ROOT Sports Northwest will be the only channel to have live coverage of the game. Those with MLB.tv can find the game streamed live as well. MLB Network will have the game on tape delay starting at 6 a.m.

Baseball season is finally back, folks. Get excited!
