The 2012 movie award season continues to heat up Sunday evening as the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards air live on TNT and be simulcast on TBS at 8:00pm ET. Moneyball has been nominated for a pair of SAG Awards. Brad Pitt was nominated for Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor in A Leading Role. Jonah Hill was nominated for Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor in A Supporting Role.
The SAG Awards nominees were chosen by separate film and television nominating committees, each consisting of 2,100 SAG members from around the country, randomly selected a new each year. All active members of SAG received ballots starting December 28. The SAG Awards are the only industry honors conferred solely by actors' peers.
